The end of summer is near, there is no denying it (Believe me - I have tried!). I am faced with the growth both physically and psychologically of my children - taller, smarter, more independent, wiser in many ways. They are growing up - those beautiful, amazing girls. School will start very soon (you can count it in number of sleeps now!) and time is marching on. I was very aware of this as I watched both of them at a birthday party this weekend (don't you enjoy the Mexican Fiesta theme!). They are their own person.
The end of summer means Mommy has to move forward to, with some anxiety about the changes and unknowns ahead. Embrace it (I heard myself whisper - it is okay to be anxious, and okay to have anticpiation). So I am grateful for the summer and all that it has taught me.
