Sledding

Today we have some special guest bloggers....The first oldest darling writes...today we went sledding.  It was fun!  I rode my tinkermobel and my yellow sled.  It was fun in both of them.  I went really really really fast.  It was super fun.  There were a lot of tracks on the ground after we went sledding.

The youngest darling writes...We went sledding today with our cousin.  My cousin rode on a sled, his sled went really super fast.  That is all I want to write.

We hope you got out today and embraced the winter snow and all that this time of year has to offer.  As we crest into the start of a new year, it is time to pause and enjoy what is ours - now and in this moment.  What we have (and it is plentiful), where we are and what is good and great.

Gratitute is the path to abundance

Christmas gift suggestions:
To your enemy, forgiveness. To an opponent, tolerance.
To a friend, your heart. To a customer, service. To all, charity.
To every child, a good example. To yourself, respect.
-- Oren Arnold

Blessed are those that can give without remembering and receive without forgetting.

In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame
by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those
people who rekindle the inner spirit.
-- Albert Schweitzer

Well, we are just a few days before Christmas!  There is a certain hum in the air...excitement, love, frenzy!  I myself am trying to slow down and take it all in, while exhaling.  We are about to share a wonderful holiday together, dig deep into the meaning of the season, enjoy each others company and possibility spend a day or two in PJ's in front of the fire.

I am thankful for so many things these days....here is just a few:

My health and the health of my family
A home to call my own
A warm bed with cozy sheets
Food in the fridge
The love of my husband and children
The love of my friends
A hot strong cup of coffee (which I can make myself in my own kitchen)
LOVE LOVE LOVE

I believe that gratitude is the path to abundance, and I am feeling grateful today.

The holiday season

Santa is coming to town...
Trim the tree..

And have your cake too...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...ahhh...breathe deeply, let it all out...the holiday season is almost upon us.  Time for the world to slow down (no really!), get simple, eat, drink (coffee in my case), and be kind.

I love the pause of the holiday season, I am always thankful for vacation at this time.  Just to break and do nothing (or something, depending on your desire).  I love the freedom of choosing, not being tied to a schedule, and just trying to be.  Time to try and shed all that is weighing on you and just let go and enjoy.  I am hoping for some snow to add to the moment!

This is a time to be grateful for what you have; health, time, space, a warm bed, smiling faces to greet you, hugs from little arms and big arms, kind words, patience, choice, joy perspective, food in your belly, humour, and freedom.

What are you grateful for today...?
