Here is what we have been up to...our life in pictures lately consists of birthday celebrations and fun! 

 We are coming up to some very important birthdays, so stay tuned for more of our life in pictures.

For all things there is a season

Things have started to really turn cold in this little part of the world.  We were blessed with some unseasonably warm and inviting weather in the last four weeks.  The smiles and at times disbelief on peoples faces told the story of this gift.  The extra runners getting in that  outdoor run they did not anticipate was wonderful to witness.

We have been taking it day by day here...sickness, the kind that comes from school really starting again, and the weather turning to winter can only bring.  We are also nesting, staying in pyjamas longer, snuggling with cozy blankets more, and thinking of the holdiay season that is coming (not to mention the multitude of birthdays that come our way at this time!). 

It is a time of pondering, a time of reflection, meditation, and of renewal (hopefully).  Things are never staying the same.  My beautiful daughters are proof that the world is everchanging.  Their perspective and view of the world is changing, their behaviour is changing, and as parents we are attempting to change.  It is difficult at times to know what they need and how to provide it in a way it will be received and ultimately lead to transformation.
